Game Report- TOFC U14 Girls

The Thompson Okanagan Super Y league U14 girls enjoyed a successful road trip this past week. The TOFC team defeated the Surrey Revolution 3-0, goals scored by Katie Harding (Salmon Arm), Haleigh Penner (Kelowna) and Paige Martin (Kamloops).
July 27th & 28th, 2010
On Tuesday and Wednesday the TOFC squad swept its series with the West Coast Capitals of Victoria with scores of 6-1 and 2-0. Courtney Hemmerling (Kelowna) with four goals and singles by Haleigh Penner (Kelowna) and Dani Rivet (Kelowna).
The second game Courtney Hemmerling scored with a penalty kick and Kira Lee (Vernon) secured the win with a direct kick. The victory ensured a third place finish for the team in a competitive Pacific Northwest division of the USL league. The TOFC team completes its season on Saturday at the Marshall fields in Vernon playing the Abbottsford Mariners kickoff at 11 am.
